All fitness levels welcome and encouraged to register, BUT be ready to work HARD, to achieve your cycling and running goals

Barbara Rodwin - 9x Ironman Competitor. Barbara will also be
leading our Triathalete Division of the CHICKS Cycling Club.
WEEKDAY WARRIOR Program:
Sylvie D'Aoust, Level 2 Cycling Coach, Road Racer
Mandatory use of HRT monitors.
Format: 16wk periodized CYCLING and RUNNING prgram, designed by Barbara Rodwin & Sylvie D'Aoust
16wk Profile :Base-building, focus on pedal stroke and running techniques, endurance base-building, strength and power. Specific hills, speed & endurance drills..
CORE workout: An additional 5-10 min following the spinning class will be focused on stretching and a CORE workout.
Running prior to spinning class: We will be heading down to the canal for an out and back run. We'll be working on form and technique.
SPINNING: Learn valuable skills and techniques for strengthening your cycling on the flats and hills. Build your endurance, perfect your pedal stroke, learn important hill climbing skills while indoors on the spinning bikes. Get strong and be ready to tackle the outdoors in the spring.
Cycling or Running Programs:
If your interested in targeting specific goals for cycling or running, approach Barbara or Sylvie for a specific program that can be used at home, during the winter in addition to the studio training.
Highly recommended if you have a specific goal in mind: race, endurance, skill, technique......

Spin class discount:
The clients of the 16wk WARRIOR programs, will receive a discount to purchase additional spinning packages to use during the week.
An email request must be sent to Sylvie in order to purchase a discounted spinning package.

If your going to be serious about your training, we highly recommend getting your zones done, in order to train properly in the your target HRT rates.
For an additional cost you can get your ZONES tested This is NOT MANDATORY, however HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Getting tested before and after your winter training is a great way to gauge your fitness progress.
It's a great way to start your training on the right foot and to avoid over-training.
